About the Job

The Product Manager will be a key player in the Product Delivery Team and play a critical role in owning and managing the product vision, creating road maps, steering solutions, and understanding client/user needs to facilitate building of products.


Job Description

1. Support Product Discovery 

Assist senior product managers in gathering insights through user interviews, competitor analysis, and market research. This includes contributing to framing problems and validating ideas to ensure solutions are user-centric and business-relevant and preparing product documentation. 

 

2. Requirements Gathering.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to document and refine product requirements. Translate ideas and feedback into actionable user stories with clear acceptance criteria. Maintain the backlog under the guidance of a Senior Product Manager and ensure requirements are understood during sprint planning sessions.

 

 3. Cross-functional Coordination.

 Coordinate across engineering, design, QA, and operations to ensure alignment on scope, timelines, and dependencies. Track the progress of deliverables and ensure blockers are surfaced early in collaboration with project managers. Support team rituals such as standups, demos, and retrospectives. 

 

4. Data & Reporting. 

Monitor product usage metrics, compile performance reports, and support the product team in analyzing results from feature releases or experiments. Use insights from analytics tools to support future decisions and measure feature success. 

 

5. User Testing & Feedback.

Loops Participate in user testing initiatives and organize feedback collection from internal stakeholders or end users. Analyze findings and synthesize them into clear reports or summaries to inform iteration priorities. 

 

6. Documentation.

Maintain structured and up-to-date documentation including product specs, sprint outcomes, retrospectives, and release notes. Documentation ensures knowledge continuity and supports internal alignment across fast-moving teams. 

 

7. Learning & Growth. 

Actively learn product management best practices through mentorship, reading, and exposure to live projects. Seek feedback, attend internal and external product training sessions, and contribute to team learning by documenting journies and observations.


Skills

● In-depth understanding of the tech industry 

● Excellent communication and presentation skills 

● Proven experience in a Product/project management role or related field 

● Success in overseeing all elements of the product development lifecycle. 

● Tools: Familiarity with project management platforms (e.g., Jira, Trello, Asana) and documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Google Workspace

Qualifications

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Marketing, or a related field is required

● 3–5 years of experience in product or project management, preferably within agile or fast-paced environments. 

● Experience as a software engineer, Design, QA or product support is an added advantage.
